They tell me that Spring is here, but the 12 degree Fahrenheit temperature outside this morning and the snow flying in my face on my bike ride to class yesterday morning have me fooled. I did go on a run this afternoon with just a pair of leggings and only one longsleeve layer, however, so Spring must be here. Charles Dickens describes this season best:
“It was one of those March days when the sun shines hot and the wind blows cold:
when it is summer in the light, and winter in the shade.”
I crunched through ice this morning and got stuck in mud this afternoon. The water flows in the sunshine, but freezes in the shade.
